THE LONG AWAITED MOMENTS.
After 39 years with out participating in the African Cup Of Nation, Uganda finally ended that drought last after defeating Comoros in a dramatic match at Mandela National Stadium Nambole.
This could only set Ugandans into inertia and in high gears as they prepared for Gabon ready to take on Ghana,Mali and Egypt in Group D.
Though results did not come as expected as Uganda lost to Ghana and Egypt making the cranes the first team to exit the AFCON competition with a match against Mali to spare that would also later end into a 1-1 draw credit to a Farouk Miya goal .
The wait continues as now focus turns to Russia 2018 world Cup and the 2019 Afcon.
